Once we arrived, we got our bags and headed to the grab our rental car. Then we were off for our long weekend of FUN!

We headed down to Agoura Hills to our hotel. We checked in relaxed a bit and then headed to Burbank to meet the rest of the family for dinner.

After dinner we did a little bit of shopping in downtown Burbank and headed back for the evening.
Saturday morning we woke up early (6 a.m. Hello time change) and headed out for breakfast and the beach! Malibu was so beautiful and Josiah just loved the ocean! He was a bit skeptical at first but once he realized he was in good hands he had a ball! We headed back to the hotel full of sand. A sure sign a good time was had by all!

Then we ventured off to do some outlet shopping. Daddy and Joey bought matching Lacoste shirts and Mama came home with a new Coach wallet. :)
Saturday was the big Christmas in July party for Cousin Merrie. It was held at her friend's home in Tarzana. What a beautiful house with a pool and tennis court and the most pretty rose garden!

Josiah loved blowing bubbles and playing in the large back yard. We had a lovely Christmas dinner of turkey, green beans and sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, we called it a earlier night than Rich and I would have like but Josiah was tired after a busy day!
Sunday morning we were up again very early and had some pool time before a big breakfast with the family. This was the day everyone (but us) was heading home. We said our goodbyes and wished everyone well!

Then, we packed up and moved down to Redondo Beach for the last 2 days of our vacation. Once we arrived we walked down to the beach and took in some sights. Later that evening Josiah go to meet some more of his family. This time from Mom's side. We saw our Cousin's Kevin and Josh and met our newest cousin Andrea (Andie), Kevin's daughter and Josh's 1/2 sister. We also had the pleasure of meeting Rita, Kevin's better half. :) What a great little family!

We had dinner at the Redondo Pier and headed back to the hotel for a little R & R before our finale...DISNEYLAND! Oh...and the earthquake!
More later!
